Quote from: "Mugen"
you do not have to wear goggles, but don't you dare try to hold anyone responsible if you get jammed in the eye.

FYI, if people who play do not sign waivers acknowledging the possibility of injury and making Fandemonium and the Nampa Civic Center not liable, then yes, people can "dare" hold Fandemonium and the Nampa Civic Center responsible.  If, after the waiver has been signed, people then choose to go into the game without protective gear, then they wouldn't be able to blame anyone else for their injuries (within reason).

I asked because I could probably bring some marker/shirt sets if I knew specifically what you needed (Crayola thick markers, I assume or their washable discount equivalent? And... low quality t-shirts in X size(s)?) because I fully endorse drawing on people and especially competitions that encourage it.

I don't know about being able to afford goggles as well, though, because I don't know how much the cheapest ones would be.

Score zero for me trying to be silly. -.-;

And you can bring what you want for yourself and your friends, and earlier in this it was posted about washable markers I believe, and you can bring any t-shirt you want...

But we're still going ot be supplying 20. It may sound stupid to you, but I worked a littler harder than I should have to work up a system for those 20 to be gotten... But ya if you want to supply your friends you can do that.

We got our goggles at the dollar store. They look silly and probably won't be the most comfortable things in the world, but hey, they'll protect most of your head.

we've been discussing it and have decided no matter how uncomfortable, or vision impairing they might be to people that wear glasses, such as myself, that goggles will be required. I didn't want ot have to, because they can really be uncomfortable, but yes... Wear goggles.

Well, shop/lab glasses might work better with glasses, to the same effect.   Some danger of slippage.

I don't think the amount you're supplying is silly. It's admirable that you're supplying that much. I was just offering to bring some to up the total you can supply without extra cost to you. Maybe five sets (goggles, XL shirt, marker) minimum. If you don't want me to, that's ok too.

see here's what is in my mind:

I have a bag with 33 draw items, 20 say yes and 13 say no, those that say no, get to keep their item, but i can't supply them.  Those that say yes get to keep their item, and participate. I'd have to get more items if we got more shirts XD; And I... I am a lazy lazy person.

As well as I don't want to up the number because with tooooo many people, it would be really hard to determine a winner. =p And the chance of injury would increase.

But I will not deny anyone that actually takes the time to bring their own supplies.

And for Mr. Spike, we have written a waiver, I just am trying to find a way it's un-necessary to need it because technically you can't apply those to minors unless their parents are there to give permission.
